2011 Kia Sorento.

If you are in the market for a new SUV, there are plenty of options available right now.  The CR-V from Honda Alexandria is incredibly popular and recently underwent a redesign.  The Equinox from Chevrolet Lakewood offers great features and impressive fuel economy, and if you need more space the Traverse is pretty much its bigger sister.  One affordable option is the new and improved 2011 Kia Sorento.  There are tons of features and upgrades you can choose from, and the new exterior design is gaining popularity by the day.

Kia redid some of the body design of the Sorento so while it does weigh less now, there is no way it is as quiet as the cars from Lexus Washington DC.  The firmer suspension may make for a smoother ride, but there is a lot more road noise that drivers are already complaining about.  This is partially because Kia abandoned their original body-on-frame construction in favor of the newly popular unibody crossover design.  Front wheel drive is now standard rather than rear wheel drive, and because it is no longer based on a truck design the Sorento can't tow as much cargo as it used to.  However, the crossover body design made room for an optional third row so the 2011 Sorento can carry seven passengers where it used to only be able to carry five.

Inside the Sorento you will find an attractive interior.  Of course there are different trim levels and you can choose from plenty of options to customize your SUV.  All models will come nicely equipped with Bluetooth, Sirius satellite radio, USB ports, and auxiliary jack.  The iPod cable is only $35 more!  It is nice that Bluetooth is now standard because it gives drivers the ability to control the radio and their cell phones all while keeping their hands safely on the steering wheel.  The Limited package will upgrade you to in-dash navigation, leather, and a better audio system.

Should We Mention The Single Pedal Design Again?

The single pedal designed has been around for more than two decades. The inventor himself, Masuyuki Naruse has argued the two pedal is a design flaw. "We have a tendency to stomp down when we panic" said the inventor. He designed this break pedal to help and prevent unintended acceleration. This single pedal would be an answer to the problem but automakers and consumers are leery. Some consumers do not like change and automakers do not want to insist that it goes in during assembly with consumers unsure of it. The pedal itself has come to the attention of executives with Toyota being under the spotlight with their troubles. Toyota has been effected greatly by their acceleration problems and Bradenton Chevrolet are fully taking advantage of it all.

This one pedal design is just like the brake pedal but has a thin piece to the side. That piece pushes outward to accelerate your vehicle. It does stop the accidental acceleration when you have a quick reaction. Too many of these types of unneeded deaths have come from acceleration when the driver has panicked. The statistics in Japan in 2009, there were 6,700 accidents with 37 deaths and 9,500 injuries that have been associated with driver acceleration said the Institute For Accident Research and Data Analysis. IARDA is a government affiliated group based in Tokyo. This is one of the reasons that Mr. Naruse has had such passion to shape this pedal. It is needed to save lives and any injury. Peoria VW has looked at it, the pedal fell on deaf ears with German engineering. It is so hard to have someone change the way they drive and that is why automakers have difficulty with the pedal, because of the consumers. Even the Detroit GM Dealers have resistance in changing the pedal design that everyone is accustomed to.

This single pedal is of a divine design, if it would save one life it's worth it. It is hard to change the way we drive, anyone that can thing to push their foot sideways to accelerate would think it would be uncomfortable. The Obama Administration has said it might make the automakers put a "smart pedal" in. We will wait and see what the automakers actually do and what will be up to standards to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Ford Work Solutions!

People who buy a truck from Honda Louisville might be disappointed in their selection after they learn about the cool new features that Ford Motor Company is offering on their truck and van line up.  You have to admit that people who buy these large trucks from places like Ford Boise are likely going to use them for construction business trades.  These people need their trucks and vans to function well as off-road vehicles as well as portable office solutions.  There are four services from Ford that come as options on the F-150, Super Duty, E-Series, and Transit Connect vehicles.

The best feature is an In-Dash Computer that even folks who drive cars from Kia CT will be envious of.  Featuring a 6.5" screen, wireless keyboard, and 4 GB worth of Microsoft technology allow users full office capabilities.  You can upload documents from a USB drive or SD memory card via the built-in ports.  Also, you can access your office computers remotely from the truck and print documents via a Bluetooth powered printer.  Internet service is available through Sprint.

Ford teamed up with DeWalt to create Tool Link.  After you tag all of your gear with radio frequency tags, the antennas will scan your vehicle to make sure everything is present and accounted for.  Plus, you can create specialized lists to make sure you have all the appropriate tools when you leave your house to complete the day's tasks.

Another new technology from Ford is Crew Chief.  This program is best suited for people who manage a fleet of vehicles.  With this feature, you can keep maintenance logs for each vehicle, locate your entire fleet via GPS, and communicate with the drivers at any moment.  The last feature is Cable Lock.  This is only available on the F-150 and Super Duty models.  Drivers no longer have to worry about their tools and gear in the back of the truck once they have secured it with a 10 foot long braided steel cable.

Airbags?

GMC Pittsburgh has an amazing line up of vehicle just waiting for you along with all of their amazing deals and great low prices, but you better hurry because they wont stay this low for long. Also make sure you check out Honda San Luis Obispo for all of their amazing deals and great low prices on all of their amazing vehicles. Ford Motor Company is once again taking the lead in safety, but this time they are doing it in a whole new way. Ford Motors is once again releasing a new safety feature out on to the market. Ford is making sure that all of their customers are safe on and off of the road. Over the past year they have released curve control and inflatable seat belts, and the curve airbags is just the next feature they are adding to the list. Make sure you check out all of the amazing deals and great prices at Toyota Lexington.

These new Ford airbags are one of a kind, and they are now help to save lives in a whole new way. These airbags now come with curves all their own. The curve was purposely built into the air bag. By doing this one small change top the classic airbag design you are reducing the impact to the chest for the driver and passenger doing a frontal accident. These airbags also have another added safety feature. They adjust pressure to the height of the person. By doing this one small thing it reduces the injuries received in a frontal automotive crash to the chest.

Over all these airbags are one a kind, and the first of their kind will be placed in the 2012 Ford Focus. You can never go wrong with a little extra safety on the road, and Ford Motor Company is just making sure that all of their customers stay safe. However keep in mid that safety features alone can't always keep you safe on the road. Always remember to practice safe driving where ever you go.

Is Safety Technology Safe?

The last time you checked out a new car at Savannah Honda were you overly impressed with how high-tech the vehicle was?  Cars are becoming more and more technologically advanced, and while most of it makes our lives ultra convenient, is some of it hurting us at the same time? It is hard to question the safety reports about the cars at Oshkosh Chevrolet because they get such great ratings.  But as consumers, perhaps we need to be a bit more cautious and read between the lines of the safety features of our cars.  While what caused Toyota to recall their cars because of suspected acceleration problems is unclear (driver error or manufacturer fault), the fact that so many recalls have followed in the footsteps brings up the issue; is our safety technology really safe?

When you go to a place like Columbus Honda, the salesmen likely tell you about all the great features of the car; excellent fuel economy, low price, comfortable seats, luxurious amenities, and superb safety ratings.  One example is that some cars use a push button ignition system.  While it is rare that you would need to turn the car off quickly in an emergency (brakes go out or gas pedal gets stuck), the situations do arise.  How many of us would revert to our days of the past and quickly reach for a key in the ignition, only to find that there is no key there?  In our panic, it is impossible to tell how we would react.  The owner's manual of these brands like Toyota, Kia, and Audi say that you need to hold the ignition button down until the car turns off in a couple seconds.

It is hard to discredit the technology too much.  The number of auto accident fatalities has greatly gone down over the past few years, and it is the technological advances that are responsible for saving lives.  Crash test ratings give us a great way to compare similar vehicles.

Soul and Gadgets!

When you go furniture shopping, one of the key points the sales people always make is how many hours per day you spend using that furniture.  Think of how many hours of your life are spent in your bed or on the couch?  When you look at it that way, you want to make sure you make a solid investment on something that will last and be comfortable.  The same kind of thing goes for cars.  You want to spend your money wisely on a vehicle, perhaps from New York Dodge Dealers, that will last you more than a few years.  But, as the technology inside the cars at Worcester Nissan Dealers and other auto brands continues to increase, cars are becoming quickly outdated.

The goal of the car game now is to stay ahead of the competition so that way your product will last longer than others.  Cars are changing technologically as fast as cell phones, but cars cost a lot more!  Sure, you could get the versatile Honda Fit from New Orleans Honda Dealers, but is it going to meet all of your technology needs?  Well, you could always go with the funky cool Kia Soul!  This boxy little car can't decide if it is a hatchback or a crossover compact SUV.  Like your mother always said, don't judge a book by its cover and it really is what is on the inside that counts!

The Kia Soul comes stocked with loads of gadgets that other cars just don't have.  There are pulsating lights on the speakers that correlate with the current song you are listening to.  All the models come Bluetooth ready, so your cell phone will be welcomed by the new car.  There is an auxiliary jack as well as integration for the iPod so you can control your iPod from the car's audio controls.  That makes it far safer than scrolling through music while you are driving.

Subaru and Toyota Team Up.

A lot of consumers think that the car you drive says a lot about you.  People who go for a Toyota or a model from Washington DC Honda Dealers aren't in the car market for the biggest and baddest vehicle they can find, but rather want something reliable, affordable, and practical.  That seems like a pretty fair assumption.  If you see a couple purchasing a new car from Palm Bay Lincoln Mercury Dealers then you might infer that they have a little extra money to spend and want to have a quality, comfortable, American made vehicle.  You could go on and on making inferences about what cars say about people, but the exciting news worth reporting has to do with economical Toyota teaming up with solid car producer Subaru.

Back in 2009 at the Toyota Auto Show, Toyota released their concept car design FT-86 coupe.  This smaller car is meant to go fast and drive hard, and is powered by a Subaru engine.  The CEO of Toyota hopes to make this sports car a reality and bring some street cred to the Toyota name, and drivers can expect to pay between $20,000 and $30,000 for this coupe.  While Toyota is hoping to produce the rear wheel drive option, there is talk of making an all wheel drive version.  Think of this car as comparable to the Camaro from Akron Chevrolet Dealers or the V6 Mustang from Ford.  It will be an entry level sports car, no doubt, but one that will perform better.

Don't expect to see this car driving around your neighborhood anytime soon!  Anticipated release dates are as generic as 2012 or 2013, and engineers are still busy trying to make this concept car vision a practical reality.  The car will be available as a Toyota or a Subaru, and some auto experts predict that the all wheel drive option will have to be Subaru.

Lincoln Branding is at Top of Ford's Priority List;

Branding the newest Lincoln models which will be found at a Ford Dealer New York is one of the top priorities of the automaker in order for it to be more competitive. Ford will brand the Lincoln as being much more differentiated from the Ford brand, similar to how Cadillac and Chevrolet is differentiated and Chevrolet's latest models can be purchased at a Chevrolet Dealer Detroit.

Mercury, Ford's other luxury vehicle line, will be discontinued by the end of 2010, and Mercury models can be found at a Used Car Dealer Manchester, and for its future luxury models Ford will be focusing all of its energy on Lincoln's next and upcoming models. The new Lincoln models will be marketed toward younger generations. At the moment Lincoln has not taken all of the younger market that tends to be attracted to vehicles by Audi or BMW.

Ford to Offer Explorer Police Vehicle;

Ford Motor Company will be offering a police vehicle to help the company continue its profitability and expansion into new markets. Ford's latest consumer models are available at Ford Dealer St. Cloud and other dealerships throughout the country. Ford at the moment controls nearly 75 percent of the market for police cars, and the company has made millions of dollars on the sales of commercial vehicles like police models. Ford will begin selling a law enforcement version of the 2011 Ford Explorer that was redesigned for optimal efficiency and features. Other SUV models that are excellent like the 2011 Ford Explorer can be purchased at Toyota Dealer Monroe dealerships and others near you.

Also check your local Mazda Dealer Calgary for deals on Mazda models that offer excellent fuel economy and are also reliable like many Ford models. Ford will continue to dominate the police vehicle market with its Ford Explorer vehicle offering. There will also be a new sedan offered to law enforcement that will be based on the Ford Taurus large sedan platform. These two models will be replacing the Ford Crown Victoria vehicle model that has been a popular police vehicle and accounts for almost three fourths of the 75,000 police vehicles that are sold in the United States every year.

The Ford Crown Victoria is known for being excellent in its build quality. The model can reach high speeds quickly and it is reliable but also fuel efficient. The Crown Victoria has held a dominance over the police fleet vehicle market but only by the choice of police stations. The model features a V8 engine that is desirable for police vehicles that require excellent power. The Crown Victoria is also a taxi cab vehicle model that is popular. The Crown Victoria is easier to fix than many vehicle models because it does not require a straightening of the chassis unlike other vehicles.
