Volkswagen is the second largest automaker in the world, and the company has demonstrated interest in releasing a number of new models in upcoming years including a Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid vehicle and perhaps a Volkswagen Golf hybrid or another electric vehicle model. Previously owned Volkswagen models can be purchased from Cincinnati Used Cars dealerships.
In the spy shot of the newest Volkswagen vehicle, it looks like it is slightly larger than the Toyota Camry vehicle. The vehicle is being developed particularly for the North American market. The market is looking for a vehicle that is larger than the Volkswagen Passat and would be a competitor to the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Chevrolet Malibu, and Ford Fusion, which are all some of the most popular mid-sized sedan vehicles on the market.
At the moment, Volkswagen does not have any model that directly competes with these models, since the Passat is smaller than all of those vehicles. Volkswagen has other models that sell well in the United States, but it is known as being a vehicle manufacturer of excellent small and subcompact vehicles like the Jetta, Golf, and even the Passat. Volkswagen is looking to produce the new vehicle in September of 2011 at a new plant in Chattanooga Tenn. The sedans will be sold in North America with no exports planned elsewhere and 150,000 sedans are expected to be produced per year.
